   Proposal Description:
   To test the hypothesis that MRI patterns of atrophy are predictive of specific  neurodegenerative pathologies. We will use pre-specified regions of interest  representing the ?AD signature? and the ?FTLD signature? to try to predict  which of the two major classes of pathology each symptomatic patient is likely  to have. We will test this hypothesis, generated using independent data from  MGH and Penn, in NACC data not including data from MGH or Penn
